First I would like to say:

Thanks to PC and our leaders Keith, Kathy, Rose, Bert, Ann, Carol, Bob, Sherry, and for our cooks Erin, Deb and Ginny.  You all endured late nights on the bus, deprivation of sleep, grumpy mornings, emotional moments, rowdy times, sick kids etc... etc... and you did it with love.   We appreciate you all and pray for Gods blessings on you.

We had a great trip with many blessings! Just ask anyone of us.  The best part was that we were all able to finish our homes.  There is never a guarentee that you'll get to finish a job, but everyone of us was determined that the house we were assigned to was going to get finished!  And they did!  God gets all the glory, as He gave us every ounce of strength to do it!    

We thank God for every mile of safety he brought us through and for awesome bus drivers like Todd and Greg!    Todd was our bus driver all week and he took good care of us all.   Its funny, when he was leaving us on Saturday early morning....He told us we treated him like he was a King.  Yet, he was the one who took such good care of us!

Remember Todd in your prayers everyone and  Thank God for those devine appointments!

Ok....we have a *Lost and Found* pile.

If you are missing pieces of clothing ie...swim suit, shirts, shorts, jeans, socks, undergarments etc...as well as shoes, or towels let us know because my mom brought home a bunch of stuff and has washed and folded it.  Otherwise it would have sat in plastic bags (some wet) at the church.   We will bring everything to the reunion picnic whenever that is.  After that it will hang at the church out side PC's office for a bit before it goes to the clothing bank.   

If anyone knows of someone from West Shore missing some things from that trip then let us know that too.

P.S.  We are still missing our new camera, its got my mother just sick, so if anyone knows anything about it please let us know. There are some special pictures on there that can't be replaced.  We have checked everywhere and called the bus company too.  Please pray that it shows up.   Thank you!

Either give him a disk (you could also leave the disk with Pastor Chad/Craig for him) or e-mail him the pictures at jawitwer@yahoo.com. Please have all the pictures in within the next week.

Hello Hershey ,

Greetings from naw'lins!   yesterday we had the priveledge to get an informational tour from Mark Lewis.  We got to see the devestation of the ninth ward, 17th st.  levee, and the French quarter.  We then came back to the church to get the downlow on what we were doing this week.  Lights were out by 10. 

Today we (well most of us) were up at 6 to prepare for a full day of gutting.  We were served a wonderful breakfast, and then headed off to GUT!  Each team has an awesome story about their day.  We were all able to meet the owners and were extremely blessed by them.  As four o'clock rolled around te bus picked us up and we headed back to the church for dinner.  Everyones favorite part of the ride back is the 23 1/2 mile bridge across Lake Ponchatrain.  The largest bridge across a body of water.  We got back here to eat a yummy dinner of Jambalaya.
